So yeah... I took my girlfriend to go watch star wars yeasterday, and she loved it. We saw it at some theater called "The VIP". It was a pretty hip place to tell you the truth. You know how normally, you buy your movie ticket, give them to the lady who rips them apart (givving you the trash), and head over to buy expensive popcorn and a pickle for your movie. Well this place makes you feel all cool and stuff. As you enter the "buidling" you head past the normal people (the ones who paid for the normal experience) you reach a ticket ripper person,who's dressed all nice and fancy for you. Once you pass her you notice the area looks alot nicer with marble looking floors and also that the freakin snack bar is no longer a "snack" bar. Replacing the usual pocorn, candy, and drinks snack bar is a freakin sushi bar, sandwhich making thing, desserts like cheese cake, and some other weird things i didnt even want. Then right in the center at the end of this snack area is a freakin bar! Just in case the movie you're watching sucks, at least you'll be wasted. WAIT! that's not all! You also have waiting area sofas that are super plush and made of black leather so you can watch the previews and normal tv on some plasmas that are just hung up around the area. I woulda taken pictures but i would have probably been beat down cause they thought i was a movie pirate trying to feed my kids selling crap movies at 5 dollars a pop. So Anyways, once you get inside, you noticed that all crappy seats you're used to at the theaters are replaced by........................... *drum roll*.......... LA-Z-Boy RECLINERS!!!! Pretty neat-o. So we sit down and each row has like a waiter guy, he goes around asking people if they need anything to drink or eat. He hands me a menu and i order a three cheese sandwhich with salami and some ham called pavo. Right before the movie starts, he brings me my plate, pours my ice chilled water in a glass for me and heads off to the side were he won't get in the way of our viewing pleasure. All in all, that place was really nice and everyone has to go just to feel like they have money. For three people i think it came out to 18 bucks (not including the food). My girlfriend paid for the movie and i paid for her food and ice cream that she wanted. I think she got the better deal. I ended up wasting like 30 some dollars while she spent less then 20 on us (not including the friend).
