Man With The Digital...

So we all went out last night and almost everyone had cameras. So it was just funny seeing us pose for a picture only to have everyone throw their cameras at whoever was taking the shot. So with the photo person holding like 4 cameras while we posed for like 10 mins eaiting for each camera to do it's duty. So after the 2nd pose i guess we all got tired of it. My camera won for taking the rest of the pictures for the rest of the night since it was the only digital camera in the group.

Man there are alotta pictures. And i'll have to wade through all of them later on today and do a follow up post for you guys. in the meantime though...

Sorry peeps! School is a big time waster and yeah... that's the big reason i haven't had time to post anything for awhile. But Alas! it is the weekend and me and some girls from NYC and some other weirdo city and my group of friends are going to party tonight in J town.

So hopefully i can take some pictures and stuff and let you see how ugly i still look. =p

I just got back from this one bookstore that's nearby the campus i'm going to and man! those people are idiots there. For that reason alone i just had to get out of there. Tomorrow though i'll make the long drive to the west side and buy my books at a beter store. I'm serious, those people working there don't know what the hell they're doing and it shows soo much that it just got me upset and made me leave.

And sorry if i sound like im in a bad mood or whatever. Just certain people tend to make me feel like that at this moment. Hopefully after a couple of shots and drinks i won't even care. Let alone even remember! so hopefully we do take pictures so i can recap the next day.

Thursyday!

So Thursday night i usually stay home, but my cousin had made me promise i'd take her and a friend out to this place in Mexico called Don Quintin!

The thing is, this place gets super packed because on thursdays ladies get in for free and they can drink for free till 8pm or something. I'm not a girl so i don't know the rules exactly. Anyways! the guys get let in at 10:00pm
So we got into Mexico around 9 so we ended up eating at this other really badass place across from the Dance/Bar Don Quintin! we had an appetizer and some shots of tequila.

So it was around 10:07 and we decided to pay for our food and drinks and head on over to the club/bar thing. We got inside and man that's the most emptiest i've ever seen it. (Sorry i can't spell right now im super hyper and sorta tired if that makes sense.) So we go and order some drinks. At first she was going to order them since she speaks wayyyy better spanish then i do, so i let her do the honors. But then it was super packed were we were at so i was like hey lets go to them over there and order so i lead the way only she didn't follow. So i'm over here ordering drinks for us and shes over there doing the same! So we ended up with these 2 huge drinks in each hand. At least we wouldn't have to come back to the busy bar any time soon!

So it's like 10:20 and guys are barely starting to flow into this place. We ended up walking around trying to see if we could snag a table. We found this one table that was joined with another. Except the front table was being occupied by these girls and i was like.... hey they're not using the other table! So i sat down and no one said anything or wanted to fight so we just stayed there.

I guess my cousin was starting to feel the buzz and just randomly started talking to these girls that were in front of us. It was funny! usually i pictured her as some snobby girl always mad at the world and stuff. And here she is making friends! DAMNIT that's my job.
The thing that made it funny was the fact that they were doing the same thing as us! They asked us if this was our table and we were like NOPE! we just hope no one buys a bottle and steals it from us. So somehow we formed this Table stealing club of 4 girls and 1 guy.

Though it didn't last too long, we had our table stolen around 12:25am. = (
Some punk girls came and bought a bottle between the 10 of them and the bouncers made us all leave the little area. Our little group stayed together though and 2 of them went away to see if they could find another table to snag. Sadly though, is was already too late in the night for there to be a table with no one occupying it.


So in the end the place was wayyyy to packed and we had to say bye to the friends we made and we left. Plus my cousin had to go work tomorrow so that's the real reason we left at 12:40 instead of the usual 2:30am

Had fun and can't wait for tomorrow!

Album review time!

So I just picked up Armand Van Helden's Nympho and man is this thing crazy just the way he is.

I'm guessing he's been influence by the likes of Felix the Housecat since his last released. Most of the tracks on here remind me of some electroclash style rock.

For example! This track named "Jenny" is just freakin crazy badass electro rock.

So I guess if you're a big fan of his old style and love electro then you'll just have to go out and buy this album won't you?!

and just for you Jay, I found some site with pictures of his CD release party in London. Yeah yeah yeah I know that's not where you live but you're way closer to that place then I am.

That's it for my crap review, it felt more like a "hey guys this CD is cool go buy it just because."

I'm embarrassed...

So there was this movie that i wanted to see for a long time. My girlfriend would never come over to El Paso so i never really got to see it. Then by the stroke of luck, i managed to find this swedish copy. It only had subtitles so it was fine. The movie in question here is called "A Lot Like Love". Man this movie is awesome!

I'm not one to fall for chick flicks, but this one reminds me of the way i want my relationship to be. Sort of like being best friends with her before you ever go into the commitment thing. There's a line in the movie that goes like: "If you're not willing to sound stupid, you don't deserve to be in love." That line right there made the movie for me, and that's what the whole movie was about.

These two people were so good together yet they were too busy with everything else around them that it just ruined their chances of committing.

There's a scene in the movie where they sort of get mad at each other so one of them vows to not talk since she's not going to tell him about her life or something like that. So they're eating at this restaurant and they're not talking! it's so dorky i love it. The whole time i just had this huge smile on my face because i've gotten like that before. So the girl then sips some of her water and freakin spits it out at him. He's all wet now and has the face of "This means War!" So he sips some water and starts spitting back at her. this whole fun ordeal gets interrupted by the food being brought out. They try to act calmly till a few moments later were the girls starts choking. It's so freakin funny. The guy just basically ignores her and the whole restaurants comes over in panic, and he's just like no, no let her be shes ok. Finally after she's pretending to act dead she gets up and says. "Fine i'll tell you."


but yeah as you can see i'm really excited. In the end though, it shows that you shouldn't take your dorky crush for granted. After all these other relationships they go through, no one ever compares to the way they are for the one day they spend together every couple of years.

The ending is also great. it's not too cliche ish so i liked it a bit.

Aunt's Birthday!

Well today was sort of busy. As soon as I woke up today, I called my aunt to wish her a Happy Birthday! She told me over the phone that she loved her new jewelry thing a ma bob we got her. It's funny because I had HID it out in her backyard under some stuff away from windows and such and she still managed to find it! What a cheater. She told me that she woke up then went down stairs and looked outside at her backyard. Supposably she does this all the time to make sure no one snuck in the house. pffftt whatever nina! (that's what I call her since she's my godmother.)

So yeah we had planned to take her out to dinner at night. She at first chose to go to P.F. Changs but we reminded her of this new place that opened up in the west part of town.



This new place was called Azafran. It's supposed to be some international cuisine place, AKA real fancy food that looks pretty. It used to be this other place called Yum Balam. I guess it wasn't doing to well and they decided to change the name. As soon as you walk in, everything looks the same as it did when it was Yum Balam.

So yeah, we sat down and I ordered some bottled water and stuff while everyone else ordered something else. The guy comes over with this chilled glass bottle and pours me some water in my champagne glass. So every time I need a refill he just comes and pours water in my glass that same way.

So before I had gotten there, they had already ordered some appetizers and stuff. They had gotten some calamari, some cerveche, and some asian styled wings. Everything was really good, well the wings were since I don't really like seafood and didn't eat any of the calamari or the cerveche. For those of you who don't really know what I'm talking about. Cerveche is diced up seafood, like crab, mixed in with diced peppers, chili, onions, and some other weird spices. The way they served it at Azafran was on tostadas or really hard tortillas for you white people. Most places I've been to give you like a cup of the stuff and you just scoop up the cerveche with your spoon to put in a tortilla or you just use the tostada basket.

So while we ate our appetizers my aunt had already ordered some drinks for her self. I think she was drinking Chivas and sprite/coke. She had already gone through 2 drinks and I could tell she was already getting crazy. It was so funny just being there with my family laughing at anything! Back when I was with my girlfriend, she introduced me to this drink called the vampiro. Basically meaning vampire in english. It's tequila mixed with some other stuff that makes the drink spicy. Like if you were eating mexican candy that got you drunk. So I had asked the waiter if they knew how to make those there. He came back with a sad no but he said he was gonna ask the bartender for a favor. In the mean time our meals started appearing on the tables and everything looked really really good.


I had ordered a dish called the Chuzzabasco. It was an Argentinen dish.... and yeah that's all I remember when I read it in the menu. heh but let me tell you! It was mighty tasty!

Everyone else ordered this chicken dish that came stuffed with cheese and chili and with a side of pistachio mole.



So while we were getting even more drunk by the minute. We managed to eat all of our food and bring out the little cake we got my aunt.




And I wasn't allowed to touch that cake!!! It looked really good, but for some reason I don't think it tasted as good as it looked. So by this time, half way through my meal, the waiter had come back with some weird looking drink. He said he felt really bad that they didn't know what the heck I was talking about when I asked him for that drink. So the bartender called up his friend in Miami, who also bartends at some "famous" clubs, and asked him if he knew how to make it. Low and behold he didn't. So instead of giving up, he got a recipet for another really popular drink in Miami. This beast was strong let me tell you. If you've ever taken a shot of a royal fuck then you can kind of imagine what this thing tastes like. It came in a huge glass and not a shot glass. Plus it was a lot stronger then a royal fuck and this was a freakin drink! Anyways I chugged it slowly at first then just decided to catch up with my aunt and her chivas drinking and finished it off.

Around this time almost everyone had finished eating their meals and the Chef from the kitchen came out and wanted to congratulate my aunt for her birthday with a nice raspberry cheesecake.




They also brought out some other deserts that we had ordered and MAN were they damn good!

(this one is the one my mom and my cousin daisy got. It's a flaun which is a mexican desert. This one though was made with nuts or nuez. So it was tasty.)

(this was the desert I picked, only cause it was the chef special and the guy made it sound really good. It was called mango y fresas con tequila. So basically these guys cook these strawberries and mango slices with tequila and serve it with ice cream. Pretty good stuff though.)

So our birthday bash was coming to an end but we were all laughing at everything. It was a nice cozy birthday party for my aunt. The restaurant wasn't full, it actually only had 3 other parties eating there, and the waiter was really cool. One thing that was funny was the fact that my mom accidently ordered some 20 dollar cognac. That crap was strong too. We all kept joking how she better finish her damn 20 dollar drink.
(haha look at my cousins "WHOA" face. i'm serious, you could get drunk just sniffing that stuff.)


We had good times and as always.... I'm super lucky and grateful to have this family of mine.

You guys can go ahead and act jealous now.

Today i just stayed outside. It was raining and i loved it.

When i woke up today, my cousins made me get ready so they could take me out to eat. We had lunch at bennigans and had fun. Then i brought them back home so they could go home and rest a bit. At the time they all told me they were down with going to the movies later on. But when that time came later on, NO one would answer their phones.

So anyways, it's my aunts birthday tomorrow so my mom and I decided to go to the mall and pick up her gift. We got her this nice jewelry chest/dresser thing. We saw it awhile back since it was in cherry wood, her favorite, and put it aside for when her bday was here. Then my mom and I went around the mall shopping. Since last time i had done this with my ex i already knew which shoe stores might have shoes she wanted and what stores would have some nice tops for her. Being raised in a house with 3 women i guess sort of rubbed off on me in the shopping department. Coupled with my huge amount of patience, i can shop allll day as long as we get to window shop my stores as well.

So as the day continued we ended up at my other aunt's house who is taking care of my Great grandma. We stopped by just to visit her and tell her perverted jokes and just mess around with her. I remember the one time we went to San Francisco my mom took us to Castro st. just so she could buy my great grandma some memorabilia. We ended up buying some penis straws, some penis toothpicks, and some other weirdo pervert things my mom just found in some stores around there. It was soooo funny to see her reaction when we actually brought them back home. So we just hung around there keeping her company and hoping that seeing us there will keep her will to live going.

After that we ended up at Chilis since they were all hungry. I had an appetizer and that's about it. OH yeah!!! they had this awesome Margarita! i had like 3 and felt a good buzz and ate my little cheese sticks with so much pleasure. The crappy part of the day was that it started raining.... but with the gift still in the back of my truck! I love the rain and everything, but sometimes it just ruins some things. I rushed back to our side of town and hauled it through the rain and mud and just dropped it off under our porch. One of my cool new Diesel shirts was full of crap mud and i was just really soaked. After buying my aunt her card at Walgreens we headed home and i just took my clothes off before i got sick. Even my socks were all wet.


But yeah! i have no idea why i brought up all that other stuff.

i just wanted to share THIS with you guys and instead i ended up telling you guys my whole day.
It's a weird little fact thing about the world. Pretty Interesting.

Have you ever ended something over something sooo stupid that later on in life, when you're more mature I guess, you look back and just nod your head at the stupid things you did back then?

Well I can tell my relationship with this girl I love is going to be one of those. I've been dating my girlfriend for about 5 years, with a few speed bumps in between. Like every couple, we've had our fights and we usually just resolved them and made up and live happily ever after till the next stupid fight.

Yet... this time I don't really feel like fixing anything. I guess because every time we do, the same things pop up again and it just gets worse and worse. She fights with me because I look at girls in magazines and have friends that are girls. Even if i have manners and open the door for some old lady at the mall, or say thank you, yes please,etc. If it's a girl that i'm doing this stuff to, she will get jealous. It doesn't even matter if this girl is her sister or some girl who works at the gas station who i know for a fact has a husband. It's normal to be polite or to look at the opposite sex (in a reasonable way the way i do) and have friends no matter what gender they are right? Well not to my ex it isn't. My eyes are for her and for her only, yet! she doesn't follow her own rules. Ok I stopped putting girls up as my phone wallpaper or on my computer, she's even deleted my secret porn folder on my computer before! yet she does the same stupid thing she made a whole big fight about. And don't even get me started on me having girl friends. If we're having the best time in the world! It won't matter if a girl I know comes up to me, gives me a hug, and says hi. Even when I introduce my girlfriend AS my girlfriend to said friend. Nope, that's it she's going to get pissed all day and not speak with me. The jealously thing I could live with before, but now... she lives in a new place where all these other stupid things are getting into her head.

Yup... ever since she moved over to Mexico, her friends and even just some nobodies who tell her stuff at the gym increase the insecurities she already had about her self. Like I've said before in other people's posts. My ex never really cared if I told her how beautiful and sexy she was. It never mattered to her is what she showed me. Only if people around her looking at her told her how beautiful she was would she be happy. The ONE guy that actually (supposably) matters to her really doesn't.

And all this started because she got some stupid injection to get stupid bigger lips. Your lips were perfect and you had to ruin it by making them fake and not natural. I don't care how much "PERFECT" they make you look, that's not the girl I fell in love with and it will never be the girl I want as a wife. Normally I wouldn't have gotten mad either, but when you had already agreed to not do any "enhancements" to ANY part of your body with the one you love, it just tends to tick you off. I didn't tell her that her lips were small and maybe if they were bigger she'd look like a model or more beautiful. Nope, that idea probably came from either her family or friends. I think she's perfect the way she is, that's the reason I fell for you in the first place stupid.

Gahhhhh, and what makes it worse is that the weeks before this event happened, all she could talk about was her plan to move away to a peaceful humble place just to be a humble little family. Not having to depend on designer clothing or pretty shoes or a badass car. Just living with what you need and being happy that you live as great as you do with no problems. All that stuff just went out the door when your appearance meant more then me.

To me it feels like a big let down. Like I was proud of my son for doing soo well with his career and finishing school making lots of money in whatever. Only to find out he got all this selling drugs and earning it the disgraceful way. That's what my stomach felt like the day she told me what she did.

So all week I didn't talk to her and today I decided I would go take some make up she had bought and some earrings she left at my house back to her house. I promised my cousins I'd take them to the movies, so on the way to her house I knocked on her door, no one answered so I left her stuff hanging from the door as the movie started in 15 mins. On the way back home before crossing the boarder, I decided to go pick up a game I had left at her house and she just put the game in a bag and left it on her car. I didn't even get to see her (even though I really didn't want to freakin fake lip girl) but that to me meant I really didn't mean anything anymore. At least I had the courage to even drive over to her house for her to do that to me.


I guess I'm at fault though. I tend to treat my girlfriends extra special and this last one just took it for granted. When a guy drives almost 40 minutes everyday just to be with you, please girls, let him know how much you appreciate the effort he puts in just to be with you. ALLLLLLLLL the little things as well. Going to where you want to go eat, getting some ice cream just because, just cuddling and watch dorky girl movies are things most guys won't do. I think even my sleep schedule has been messed up since I end up driving home at close to 5am when I went to go see her. I'd make sure she was tucked into bed giving her forehead a goodnight kiss before I left.


I know though.... some other girl will appreciate this a lot more then my last one did. So I'm not bitter and hate stupid insecure jealous girls or even generalize every girl as that. I'll keep on hoping that one day I'll get lucky and get a girl who will treat me as special as I do her. It's nice spoiling your significant other, it just sucks when they take it for granted.


Now I can't wait for school to start just so I can make some new friends and have people to mingle with during the day.


sorry it was a long post, just had to get it out there even though I HATE putting emo/depressing crap in my blog. These things are not the things I want to celebrate but at least I can get some input from you guys out there on things I could have done or shouldn't have done.

Look at my Spoiled dog while i sit at my computer typing this away. She's just passed out looking at me from her comfy little position on the couch in my room. Her name is Sassy and shes 10 years old already.

Fun Times!

Just got back from Bar26 (I wanted to go bar hoppin but one of my friends friends left her ID at home). We got lucky they know me at that place or else we would have had to gone alllllllllllllllll the way back home just to get her ID. We stayed there all night and it was fun! I met some people I've known for awhile but still don't know their names. This one girl I know Sandra. I swear every time we see each other we test each other to see if we can still remember each others names. It's freaking funny!

Anyways, one of my friends named Marisa took a picture with my buddy bartender guy Joe.



Now the only reason this guy kicks ass is because he earns his tips. He'll do bottle juggling and breathe fire and all these crazy things for you. Tonight he even did a Mountain of Martinis (like the glasses stacked up like a pyramid) and poured the drink standing up on the bar! Everyone is always calling out his name because he's just cool. You WANT him to be your bartender.

We had fun tonight and my friend, who's in the picture, ended up going home with some guy. I was just happy dancing by myself in the VIP area with some strangers. I think I even made friends with some people from the Netherlands. They were like "WTF why don't you guys dance all wild?!?!?!" And I was like, buddy, look around you. There is no freakin room up here. But he didn't care at all. He was some huge black guy with a built body and just flailed his arms everywhere. He didn't really care who he was shovin unless she was a pretty girl.

Night Life...

What do you guys do on your Friday nights?

Well since my gf isn't really talking to me (or actually I'm pissed at her so I'm not talking to her). I'm going out with my friends tonight to have fun and get out of this crap mood. MY friend jiame is going with me and hopefully some other friends. There's this place called Cincinnati St. In my town that has a plethora of bars and just places to chill. One of the bars is called Bar 26. My friend is the GM there and another is head bouncer. So whenever I go there I can just skip past the line and head on up, take a shot or some drinks with my favorite bartender Joe. He even gives me discounts since I always give him nice tips after each drink.

So yeah it's gonna be fun cause I'm really really really hyper tonight. I even started dancing at Taco Bell with my little cousin. It was really funny but I think I embarrassed her or something. Hopefully I can take out all my dancing out tonight and make new friends like I always do.

Well i just got back from doing my daily routine of picking up my cousin from her drivers ed school thing. it just started pouring and i loved it. I love driving in the rain listening to some chill music, like swayzak, mark farina, or whatever. I just wish i had money to pay for gas just to keep driving around in the rain.

Quake 4

I don't know how many of you out there are all nerdy and geeky just like me, but if you're all into video games and such then you should know about this thing called Quakecon. Today marks the first they of Quakecon 2005 somewhere in Grapevine Texas...

Yummy In MY Tummy!

Muahahaha, so at 7pm I get the nice liberty of picking of my cousin, who lives with us, from drivers ed. All my family likes to go line dancing today at some bar/dance place, so Wednesdays means I have to go pick her up. Anyways... I took her to Barnes & Nobles and we read some magazines for a bit and then got in line for some stuff at the Starbucks inside. She was eyeing the big plate sized sugar cookie while I kept looking at the Italian lemon creme cake. It just looked really damn good and couldn't believe all of it's slices were still in tact.

So I'm here just eating my yumm lemon creme cake. It has nuts and whipped creme on the outside with a lemon cake inside. There are 3 layers inside and the middle is just some nice cheesecake like stuff that just puts the cherry on top of my sundae.

So yeah... What desserts do you crave with a nice glass of milk???

P.S. This Coded Arms for the PSP is kicking my ass at the moment. It was a breeze and kind of too easy in the beginning, but now that they're throwing bosses and hard japanese tricks or something my way, It's beginning to give me a run for my money. I like it though! =p My only complaint is the fact that there is no online play. DAMINT PEOPLE ITS ALMOST FREAKIN 2006! I WANT TO PLAY WITH OTHER PEOPLE AROUND THE WORLD!

Scratch N Sniff

So i was going over the pictures we took on my girlfriends birthday, and i found some funny ones and most were blurry because, i suck taking pictures i guess.
But we went to go walk off all the food we just stuffed down our throats and came up to this little wannabe ranch type place. They had a llama, a buffalo, some long horns, and these donkeys. One of them was super fat and looked like he could haul all my wares around town while i tugged him with a little rope. The other two we saw were busy doing something. For the longest time, this small little donkey was just sniffing his "ass" (haha i made a funny pun!!!) while we tried giving the bigger one some grass or food or whatever you wanna call it. So we just walked around looking at the rattle snake pit, and some deer that were just there eating some food. It was getting kind of dark so we didn't get a chance to run through the little maze they had built there with pieces of wood.

I wonder what my changa will do for me when it's my birthday. hrmmmmm....

My Wifey's Birthday!!!!

Well well well... My babe is getting all old and wrinkly and stuff. Today... well yeah WAY later on today, me and the love of my life are going to go eat out for her birthday. I was hoping I could treat her to a day of feeding goats over at this place called Cattlemens. It's a nice restaurant if you like ribs and big steaks and such. I think their biggest slab of meat is a 20oz. but I never get that... just turns into wasted food. Then after that, she's been wanting to see Charlie and The Chocolate Factory. Since it hadn't come out over in Mexico yet and she's been wailing about that movie all summer, It would be fun to take her and just be bums during the night time. But yeah, I hope I can treat her to a nice birthday that her family somehow didn't come up with first.
